Hahahaha, so these last 2 pages of SUSA is the greatest and has YNT players was a total lie, that's awesome. Gotta love the SUSA cool aid drinkers.

So far, the only thing SUSA has developed is a bad reputation. They haven't developed any soccer players, they just buy them after the fact.

Again, nobody said Susa developed this player. It was said with the caliber of players on the current rosters, it is unlikely that Susa was targeting Smithtown players to add to the ECNL rosters. No secret, Susa bought Fury out and many of the top Fury players opted to join Susa.

Really? Without question the person who wrote the post was insinuating that SUSA developed the players. The spin SUSA people put on things is insane.

A bad reputation by whose standards? Parents on the outside looking in? Who cares. Players/parents who want to play and compete against the best ECNL Clubs chose SUSA. That’s all. No one is talking about development. Players who developed elsewhere want to play at SUSA to showcase their skills in ECNL Showcase events were there will be more college coaches daily than any non-ECNL events. If SUSA was not ECNL then they would go elsewhere. You think after all these years of playing ECNL, EMSC have developed talented players? The development argument does not work. There is no loyalty to a club or team. Could care less what a parent on the outside thinks about SUSA’s reputation. If my kid is playing/training on a competitive team, playing against competitive teams in a competitive league and playing at competitive ECNL Showcases then that is all that matters to me.

Go back to the original post clueless. It states Smithtown to be the ECRL teams with a few kids going to ECNL. If you think for one second that there is not 1-3 kids at Smithtown who could play on a SUSA ECNL team you are delusional. JR loves his Smithtown buddies, would do anything to get them into SUSA. It is money in his pocket from the big boss above.

You talk about 1-2 kids at SUSA as if the teams are NOW complete. Rosters could never improve. You are a clueless clown!!!

Why doesn't SUSA ever acknowledge the club they stole a player from when they announce their college commitments?

How exactly are they stealing children?

Stealing a player? How so? It’s called free will. Your thinking. Ames no sene. Every season families make choices what is in thei daughters best interest playing soccer. Where does it say you have to stay with one team forever or until that club gives you a release. That is crazy. Players determine their level of commitment and then choose a club/team based on their level of play and what they want to get out of playing soccer. ECNL offers the highest level of competition as well as the best opportunities to be seen by colleges. SUSA never said they trained a specific college bound player BUT that player chose SUSA to play/train and that’s the difference. There was no stealing. It is free will to choose to play wherever you want. The difference being SUSA plays in a highly desirable league that’s the attraction.
