    This group collectively sent hundreds of emails and between them easily attended over 100 Clinics. Coaches help if there’s an interest. Getting attention from college staff takes countless hours of work and then performing in that stage when the chance arrives.

    CFC just provides a platform. Class of 2019 and 2020 kids took advantage.
    Instead of complaining here, make a plan and attack the showcases and winter clinics. Unless your kid is a superstar it’s all about self promotion
    That is true of most kids in the process - except for top national players who have coaches drooling over them, it's the players that do the heavy lifting. Clubs provide guidance (help determine types of programs to target), make phone calls etc. but it's the players who are contacting coaches, sending schedules, giving it their all at showcases and ID events, selling themselves at campus visits, following up.

    The 2021 class for whatever reason has been a talent black hole for the state, not just at CFC. If history is any indication CFCs graduating class will do better than other clubs. But with new recruiting rules it's way too early to tell. 2020s sign their NLIs soon but that only covers D1 athletes getting $. Lists aren't really final until spring.

        ha ha ha. You'd be surprised how many are clueless, especially parents of younger players who haven't started the process yet
