.500 gets you in, but you don't need to be .500 if you win your league, or finish second in a league with a certain minimum number of teams, 5 or 6 I think.

I know one school in D1 that scored 1 goal all year and I believe that was against a D4 team. Also couple times bully teams that like to pad stats beat them 16-0. That is a prime example for blowing it up.

It’s ridiculous. The matchups are a joke all season long. You’ve got blow out games and padding stats, and strong teams remaining in weak conferences.

How did Milton get in at 2-15-1 ????

Some version of a Walker system would at least give schools the incentive to play better opponents and when the seeding rolled around you might not see one side of the bracket look much more competitive than another side simply because only winning percentage was used.

A divisional system based on Stats, promotion and regulation, is the only way to go. Right now, it’s so far out of whack.

                Andover has easiest path.

There is a sort of promotion and relegation in extreme cases, schools can and have requested a waiver to be moved up or down from their division, but you're right, it isn't really part of the system and should be, at least as often as the alignments done now and not based entirely on population.

                    12. Needham (10-5-3) .639
                    13. Wellesley (8-5-3) .594
                    14. Braintree (8-7-3) .528
                    15. Marshfield (8-8-2) .500
                    16. Hingham (6-7-5) .472
I'm taking Hingham, Needham, Franklin, and Newton South on one side of the bracket and Weymouth, Natick, Whitman-Hanson and Bishop Feehan on the other. 2019 will be seen as the year of huge upsets when it's all over.

Crazy talk. KP getting bounced like that isn't going to happen.

It has happened a bit over the last few years. Maybe not the first round, but they've been bounced early and I can see it happening again. Hingham to pull a rabbit our of the hat.

KP and OA advance. Great job Nostradamus!
