We have a winner.
2 years ago, Revs came after 5 players from my son's team. All 5 said no. They would all rather pony up 3K a year then go play with Revs.
This is reality of the problems the Revs face attracting talent. Until significant changes take place (a mass firing of coaching staff), they will continue to struggle to attract talent.
Lets face it, if your son is really that talented, would you want them in charge of his development or "owning" him.

For U-15s, Bolts roster is 24 players, Seacoast is 20, Revs is 14. Why do you think that is? Its certainly not because there aren't enough good players to make the team...

From Curt Onalfo regarding USL team: "It just completes the development model. It helps us attract better players both to our Academy and our USL team and our First Team. In our mind, you need to have really good coaching and a high-quality player pool, so if you’re able to attract better players and have good coaching, in theory it’s going to breed success and help us be successful in all the things we’re trying to achieve."
Mentions good coaching twice - does he realize the coaching in the academy is terrible?
