Nah, FSA ECNL girls U18s, U16s, U14s better than CFC. FSA had two teams in Seattle, both went undefeated. Every CFC team lost a game in Seattle.

FSA on boys is better than CFC at every age group.

FSA has the best club owned facilities in region 1.

    FSA the better club.

FSA fanboy is back from summer break!

FSA didn't even get all their teams to nationals and they played in the B group that no one cares about. Two of their teams finished in or close to last place. Two CFC teams played in the A group against the nation's top clubs and held their own.

FSA NPL teams are even worse.

Yes FSA Boys A teams are better. The B and C are a wash with other clubs but come with a premium price tag.

FSA placements are far inferior to CFCU, on par with OW

But having good facilities means nothing if the on field product is average. Oakwood's training facilities and environment are way better than FSA's. It's like a pro set up. Locker room, video analysis equip in lockerrooms, training equipment that they can store (not carry back and forth to their cars), $10K of soccer balls, training manequins, mini goals, video, etc. FSA may be shinier, but they are way inferior in what they give their players.

Once again, superficial elements upon which to draw any analysis or meaning from.

Exactly what does getting 3 teams in the Champions League tell us about CFC and FSA?

Isn't any college placement list highly subjective? Did any kid from either of these clubs not get into the college of their choice?

I think "average" is being kind, at least on the girls side. Boys side yes OW and BDA is a better product. But if you don't want DA or aren't quite at that level FSA boys is a ery good option.

You missed the OP’s point and it is a relevant one. CFCU boys sort of existed, they had a North group and a south group that were “united”. South went away a couple years ago. North existed as NPL teams and were very good actually. When boys got ECNL last year, the CFC talent did not all aggregate to one spot (ie ECNL). The North NPL team continued to exist and only a handful of players came down to Bethany. If CFC could have all of their boys top players actually on their ECNL teams they’d be much better against FSA. All of the girls ECNL and NPL teams operate out of Bethany. For some odd reason, the boys are split up and they allow North to operate NPL up around Enfield. This makes no sense and thus splits up their talent. If they don’t put a stop to this practice then their boys teams won’t ever be at full strength. It makes zero sense to not aggregate as they do with the girls.

there new indoor facility and so far one outdoor facility is barely enough to handle girls program, add in cornhole, lacrosse, fag football and their boys program is left to die

Are you on crack? Those crappy items are how you measure a club:? Having two crappy 10x10 rooms in their weak little shack and a few bleachers with an expensive awning that some idiot can stand on with their camcorder hardly qualifies them as top quality training facilities. The indoor is garbage and the outdoor fields are matted down and rock hard ..... like everything OW owns, it is long in the tooth and needs repair or replacement in the next year or so. Their facilities are mediocre and insufficient.

I would like to see FSA top boys HS teams play OW top teams. I dont think that you would see OW is substantially better (if at all). OW are definitely better on the girls side, but I bet the boys side would be fairly even.

It would be competitive but OW would win more times than not. Speed of play in DA is vastly different than ECNL

meant to add vs BS, Fsa would probably win more than not. BS is sliding into oblivion.

Speed of play in DA is only “vastly different” at the top MLS clubs (NYCFC, etc) and especially at the older ages. I’ve watched plenty of DA and boys ECNL over the past year. U15, u14, u13 Ow and BS teams are no better than FSA ECNL teams in terms of quality or speed of play.
