I am beginning to worry that DAP teams are providing National Exposure to top local kids and are encouraging them to commit to National Powers. Looks good on their promo material. But are they turning out to be bench players? Many, but not all are. Will continue to observe.

Where are you getting this info.? Website lists them both as playing 1 game/10 minutes each.

Sure clubs love it when kids commit to big name schools. But players and parents often aren't realistic about the likelihood of playing either. Sometimes it's getting into the school that matters more than the soccer

I couldn't remember whether it was 2 or 1 game. Either way the minutes were/are small.

Two years ten minutes not very impressive.

They were redshirted year 1 but year 2 if you're not starting to get some PT it isn't a good sign. But they certainly not the only ones as the op has shown. Many commits never play at all. That's why this thread and the others should be mandatory reading for any player wanting to play in college.

                2016 D1 Boys Starting a Lot

                Now for the juniors.

                Player/Team/Games/GP/GS/G/A

                Joe Kellett/BC/6/6/6/0/0
                John Wilkins/CCSU/5/5/5/0/0
                Miguel Yuste/Yale/4/4/4/0/2
                Jared McCreary/UMass/8/7/7/1/0
                Ifunanychi Achara/Georgetown/6/6/6/2/1
                John Doran/Duke/4/4/3/0/0
                Jacob Harris/Colgate/6/6/6/-/-
                Zack Kalk/Dartmouth/5/5/5/0/0

So this class has battled up to 8, 20%. Several transfers without sitting out, and a goalie gets in.

                  2016 D1 Players Subbing a Lot

                  Next group

                  Player/Team/Games/GP/GS/G/A

                  Trevor Lyne/Bryant/5/5/2/0/0
                  Adam Bramson/Lafayette/7/6/0/0/0
                  Christian LaBeck/UMass/8/5/0/0/0
                  Ben Nicholas/Navy/7/7/1/0/0
                  Alejandro Estrella’s Hernanz/Wisconsin/6/5/0/0/0

This list thins as juniors. So about 1/3 of this class is playing much. That is low.

                    Of the rest

                    No names here.

                    4 DNP

                    19 Not rostered

That is what is in store. Take note. Let me hope that 2019 class has 20 D1 Commits. No more.

Nepsac alone already has 30 d1 commits for 2019

So less than 30% of this class is playing much, the lowest ever.

There are 13 kids from MA schools in the last two categories.

3 of the kids playing transferred.

                            Very sad. Take note.

true lots of good players when they were in HS have sort of fizzled out like Amadu Kunateh (Revs/Lawrence Academy), Luca Levee, etc
