Academia is not for everyone. Accept it and move on. If you prefer to go to a big club and pretend it’s going to be much better. Good luck! They are all there to accept payment and will not dedicate or go beyond to have the kids play. If you do not like South American style soccer, you most certainly can pick any other style you choose.
You will never ever find the dedication, time and most of all cari g for the kids like coach Nacho!!

All they do is play long ball and press their opponent. There is no development happening at La Academia. It's all a scam to trick parents by winning tournaments. How can someone really look at the style of play of La Academia and really think thats what children need. Most if not all those kids will be playing lower level leagues by U16. Stay away from the club that plays kick ball and press.

We came from a well known club, with an extremely great coach, who even coached a well known University. This great coach put my son down to the ground, demoralized him without even insulting him. We made a choice to leave and it was an experience lived and we moved on. When we came to Academia coach Nacho lifted my sons spirits with his enthusiasm for this beautiful game. Is it perfect, NO, but it’s perfect for my son. You will never find anyone more dedicated to this than Coach Nacho. The most important part that we have is that our coach brings the families together. We have never been happier.

If it didn’t work for those complaining, there are plenty of choices elsewhere.

Just to clarify: some of the best players in South Florida for 2009 have started with Nacho and he has even sent those kids to Inter Miami. For being a small club. It is a great accomplishment.

Pffttt... InterMiami does not equal college. Who cares about Inter? Same way they scouted 2 players from La Academia they also scouted many more elsewhere. Many more. Stop chasing the wrong shiny object...

I heard the same thing, he was telling parents that he is the only trainer approved by Inter Miami and that it was ok for Inter Miami players to train with him because he's approved by them. Is he associated with Inter Miami?

Absolutely not affiliated with inter. He is a decent sales man; not even a mediocre soccer coach. He talks a handful of above average kids to play for him and gives them a free ride/discount. Then he goes and recruits good kids to fill out the rest of the team plus takes any kid that wants to play for the team. I would love to hear the specifics on the hidden charges on top of already paying for the 3 or 4 kids that don't have to pay at all.

Nacho, the only Inter Miami approved trainer!

That guy is a weasel. He told a few Inter Miami players and parents that he was the only approved trainer of Inter Miami. He told us this to try and deter us from training with our other trainers.
