Sorry if this question is off topic. Would Surf be considered a feeder system for the Ecnl, GA and Dpl leagues? Maybe start at an early age with Surf?

Hasn't made an appearance at anything Scorpions-related since November 1st. No one seems to know what the deal is.

lmao, yes because great coaches & trainers can't possibly have children and familys of their own! its just impossible! gtfo

When you coach your kid's team it does matter.

It totally matters. Lots of favoritism and BS when the child of the coach is on the team. Coaches of club teams can have players but not on their own teams. Poor decisions are made never mind the awkward stress of the coach-child relationship.

Disagree a professional coach can be well professional even if their child is on the team. Sorry that you had a bad experience. Just like anything else it can be done well or not done well. Painting every situation with the same brush is silly and potentially harmful. And wouldn't a coach that has a child on the team have a vested interest in developing the team.

I have seen, more often than not, the coaches kid is one of the best kids on the team. (not always but i think most of the time).

In volunteer situations with the coach's player being among the best on the team it is very doable. When the coach is paid, it can create tough situations.

There’s sometimes a fine line between developing all the players on a team for their own benefit and developing a team to allow the coach’s kid to shine.

Teams that have parent coaches seem to do more in the winter months.Does this translate in development ?? depends>>

Coaches that had no child on team did nothing during the winter months as far as tournaments, leagues and extra training . I suspect that since their only motivation in the fall and spring was chasing gotsoccer points and if they did do something like technical training it was not included in the tuition.

Not true at all if you’re just talking about late fall (since winter has just started). Some coaches and clubs have gone above and beyond to arrange extra opportunities.
