Hi, thanks, was looking for something to support the statement "...most indoor facilities don't have adequate ventilation".

Don't feel safe having your kids playing indoors? I'm 100% ok with that. Just don't send them. Same as grocery stores, movie theaters, schools, etc.

As the poster asked, where is the data stating these facilities have improper ventilation.
One of your articles above highlights the relative safety of a standard ventilation system in a supermarket - while people are not wearing masks. Another gives the WHO guidance on what constitutes safe ventilation, meaning that there is such a thing.
Many of these facilities have very high ceilings and modern ventilation. Do not equate these systems with the risk associated with an in home gathering.

There is a real possibility that there will be limited indoor sports this winter.
These kids play a sport together but also hang out together and with other kids away from the sport. These hang outs are not controlled environments like the sports are supposed to be. If the guidelines are being followed, then playing a sport is frequently safer than not playing a sport because of the controlled vs uncontrolled environment

This is here to stay, so let's get on with learning to live with it. I will get it, you will get it, our friends and family will get it. Some will die (0.001% or something like that), just like they do for other reasons.

In New Hampshire there were 23 different rinks and 158 people who tested COVID 19 positive who were contact traced to one of those rinks. There have been other recent outbreaks at rinks on the South Shore.
