Cant make heads or tails of wins and losses betwen teams?

Some teams who get beat 8-0 come back and beat that same team 2-0.
Teams that beat their competitors 5-0, however their competitors beat a team 7-0 that these team couldn't beat??
There no way to gage if a team is any good by their record.
Absolutely no consistency whatsoever!

I have seen this a lot with the ECNLR where you will have several ECNL players on the ECNLR team the 2nd time around. On the girls side the ECNL broke for high school break a couple of weeks earlier than the ECNLR
