How about the idea that GS is a used car salesman peddling snake oil that gets you on the hook then trapped once you figure out you've been had.
So sorry that your daughter didn't get an offer. You are the clueless one since you don't realize she's awful. Maybe other things will work out for her in life. I sure hope so. But then again, it might not be bad. Schlepping coffee, sporting a bunch of tattoos and hanging out at the hookah bar will probably make her happy.

Word on the street is Smith is an arrogant ass but that doesn't mean he will be the first Oregon coach fired. Kat and Linus will be gone this year. Smith survives and has 2 more years to get to the NCAAs. Lauren Hansen at SJSU is waiting in the wings.

Chambers will jump to Oregon State.

Kat and Linus will be long gone before GS has any concerns. Linus, never did like the fuzzy little foreigner. He needs to go back to the home country where kangaroos and iguanas roam outside the fields and when the ball gets kicked into the water, it's best to just leave it there.

What does this ("You seem so clueless yet so ignorant with your reasoning.") even mean?

The post to which you replied is very rational. Do you deny the increased competitive landscape in collegiate soccer? It might have been in defense of GS, but it doesn't have to be. It also states the obvious to anyone with an open mind and rational mind.

Is the open mind different than the rational mind? Because I got to tell you my open mind lets in lots of **** . . . the rational mind is rather boring (but effective, kind of like captain Jack).

He's from British Columbia, Canada. I didn't realize kangaroos and iguanas roam outside there. Smh lmfao

Eventhough Smith is a ***** the question you ask is who can you get that's is better?

Who want to live in the shadow of Clive and attempt to recruit at Portland? It's hard enough to convince any CA kid to come to rainy Oregon. You then have to turn to in state prospects. Where would you rather go, Oregon or Portland? Phil Knight just dropped 500 million on the already 500 million he already invested in that school. What idiot would choose Portland over Oregon? If Oregon hires a coach that is a real person and knows how to Coach I would expect Portland to get the recruit scraps.

Linus should have been gone a long time ago. OSU is not serious about their sports except baseball. Fire that guy and bring in a good club coach at a discount. New face, same result at a lower price, what the difference. with the extra money saved you can buy the girls extra uniforms like Oregon.

He played in South Africa, and I believe his parents are from either SA or Australia.

In soccer, no girl chooses Oregon over Portland. Oregon is horrible. A revolving door of coaches. Next one to arrive next year in fact. You need to use a better example than that. Phil doesn't care a bit about soccer at Oregon, he's got his hand's full with finding a new head coach for the football team. The concern with Portland stems from people living in the past. In Clive's time, it was easy to get top recruits to come. Women's soccer was in it's infancy. Now, you have dozens of programs who are terrific and dozens more who are up and coming. Too many opportunities for top talent. And with youth soccer developing better and better players, and more of them, more programs are becoming relevant. It's a lot harder to get to the top, much less to stay at the top, today.

Got news for you. Girls will pick any pac12 school over Portland. Times have changed and most girls will pick the big school experience over the small school. Some will still want the small Catholic School thing but they are the minority.

Apparently they will choose OSU over UP!

Now that's a great one. Oh wait, I hope you weren't serious.

Pretty sure their are plenty of girls on the UofO roster who could have easily went to UofP. They chose not to.

Yeah, because finishing in last place in the Pac 12 every year is so appealing.
