Who on the list have they lost to aside from the “baddest team in all the land” hmmmmm?

Let’s see. World Class, East Meadow, SUSA, Ginga, SSS, to name a few. Jefferson Cup wasn’t great, neither is PDA. All I’m saying is they will need to get in better shape to compete next year. Or revamp the team. NEFC central remains the baddest little team in all the land. For now.

Get a pen and connect the dots. That's the issue, not one league has all the great players. Kapish. It's a poopshow out there. The coaches know this and aren't happy either.

I can accept a list, but bragging about a win? This is a real thing?

^ we were at our D's town game recently, one of opposing players hit the cross bar after getting a clean break away behind keeper, open net. Some of our parents laughed loudly. I scolded, mentioning she's just 11, no class.

NEFC in the top flight did pretty well. SSS did well and hung tough vs PDA's top team. In 2nd division the Mass teams mostly did somewhat poorly but please be aware these were smallish fields that really suited boot ball. Goalies were punting all way to opposing box. Size was a big factor in the teams that did well.

Agree that fields were small. Both sss and nefc were in top flight and missed out on final— sss lost to eventual tournament winner PDA and nefc had a tough bracket too. Some good talent here and both teams did well.

Wouldn't small fields benefit a team who can pass and move the ball around? Bigger fields would give space behind the defense to play long ball. Both teams play on the same fields good teams should be able to adjust. Saying the goalies who touch the ball less than the rest of the players is the reason for a scoreline is not accurate.

Pda was the favorite, agreed. But the fields were too congested and the girls were too big to be on these small fields. Not blaming that for the losses but it was a crowded field and it probably put nefc at a disadvantage because they couldn’t move the ball to space that wasn’t there. I hate excuses. All teams played on the same field. Your team lost. Big deal.
