    Source for both?

    TS....
Sounds crazy but often times TS rumors are spot on. There is not doubt NE GDA is struggling and it is factual NYCFCis losing its fields. Needless to say fields in the area cost a fortune

Why would NEFC to ECNL be "impossible"?

Coach Tambi’s email to his teams was posted and it sure sounds like he was saying that the decision had to do with the MLS clubs dissatisfaction with US Soccer

Why dont we just make every club in New England an ECNL club and then we can have a big party to celebrate what winners and special players we all are? Everyone can have a cookie and a pop and we can call every kid up on the stage to get their certificate and medal and then we can parade down Comm ave.

MLS issues with BDA is separate than GDA (NYCFC is different in that it's one of the few pro clubs with a GDA program). MLS clubs want more control, fewer players, lower costs. They may get it under the BDA umbrella (they have a big bargaining chip) or go it alone.

GDA is just trying to stay afloat.

Or ECNL can have a two tiered system with promotion relegation. Or, they just take a few select clubs to round out their portfolio and let the rest go elsewhere. I mean OW, SCU and many others were, and really still are, NPL clubs.

Or current ECNL clubs can just all add B teams and achieve the same result ... oh wait...

                  LOL right?

I mean by definition, how can you have two teams, and A and B, and have them both be "Elite".

                  Is A Eliter?

You act as if one of these leagues is better then the other. Don't you realize they are both modeled 9n the boys DA and they both suck?

They are the same. Overpriced pretend fancy soccer for affluent kids. That's it. Enjoy it but don't make it into something it is not.

Every table in every "elite" league in the world has multiple teams, lets call them A, B, C, D, ... Some end up placing higher than others. We don't call them Eliter, just better.

Similarly, when Stars East and Stars West finish higher than and beat Scorpions, we will not refer to Stars as Eliter, just better.

You missed the point. The OP was basically trying to make the point that by letting NEFC’s top team back in to ECNL would in affect degrade the “Eliteness” level of ECNL as a league. The response was to point our that it would actually make ECNL more elite than placing Stars B teams there. I am going to go out on a limb and say that I think all of NEFC’s top teams would beat the Stars West teams, and compete heavily with the other clubs for the top of the ECNL Northeast bracket. The fact that the Stars West team’s can and will beat Scorpions’ top teams, Is more a function of the Scorpions program, and those other bottom half teams in ECNL, and nothing about the common sense idea of putting NEFC back in if the GDA folds.

Kind of a ridiculous statement to be honest, Scorpions haven’t even played from u15 and up so how can you make an assumption based on no facts.
