You don't compare until it's over. Seriously?

Who gave BL power to fire coaches who are more qualified than he will ever be? Lets hope this jackass contract is up sooner than later.

So why does ECNL have a high school break? The season is still going on!!! What is more important for your hopefully upcoming college play, high school or ECNL. High School is recreational, where ECNL is SUPPOSE to be hard, intense training. What these players want to do in their free time is their business as long as it does not interfere with the ECNL training or play. If you decide to miss you get benched. This league is suppose to be preparing you for college, which is why they travel and house with their teammates when traveling. In college you decided to go play on a intermural team and expect your college coach to give you a easier practice or just let you miss your college team practice for your "fun"game and still get to start or play you will be sorely disappointed. Where is the serious commitment from our players and staff. And what about those girls that do decide to put this ECNL commitment serious and want to focus on their training, they get nothing and at games the girls that do not show up and have only had fake training at high school play just the same as them. Seems we have alot of girls who want to be stars on game day without putting in the sacrifice and training to get there. Our ECNL is going to promote laziness. Great.

That is how the schedule is done by ECNL not by the club. The players make the choice to play HS. Majority of the girls are afraid to say NO to a high school coach. They make a low level school sport priority. If the girls were really dedicated and focused they would just give back to the school by showing up to games but continue to train with their ECNL teams. When our daughter is HS age that is the route we are taking. If HS coach doesn't like it, tough.

There has been no written communication that this will happen. We received emails on all the changes haven't seen anything in regards to this. I will believe it when I see it in writing and change on the field.

We didn't break last year for high school. We worked practices in. This year the coaches are taking a break because some of them coach in high school and it's too much for them. Also they don't know how to run practices so they need to take the break or they will run out of things to do.lets face it there Han not been one decision made this year with the girls best interest at heart.

It better be a change or the club will start losing more players all over again.

This shows exactly why you should not coach. Terrible thing to say about a child.

And the older girls are wanting the coaches to change practice to meet the high school schedule and were told by the coaches that the practices will be light from now on due to high school. REALLY? The adults need to teach these girls something about the commitment they already made and make them stick to it or pay the consquences. This is how it will work in college.

BL needs to put his foot down and tell GS he is only a parent on this team and no longer involved in anyway with training or coaching or making game decisions in any way. Yo yo needs to not want to put his name on this if he cannot make all decisions moving forward. GS needs to realize game over move on and join the parents. Having him as a coach is not an option. It's like trying to make a size five shoe work when you wear a size ten . It's simply not a match.

To think that these kids wouldn't want to play HS play is silly. These are their HS and youth years. The adults involved can hep balance the gap between ECNL and HS without taking either experience away from the girls. The coaches need to design a practice schedule that works with HS and continue training. Teams we will play moving forward will be training.

The coaches here want soccer light practices in part becuase in part that's all they can do. There is very little organization or planning ahead in this program and it is effecting the development of our girls.

Want to think this is resolved but if so why was he on the coaches sideline this past weekend?

Let's compare the same teams from last year to how they are doing this year:

U15 - last year fifth, this year 6th (not 3rd)
u16 - last year fourth, this year 7th (not 5th)
U17 - last year seventh, this year 2nd (not 6th)
U18 - last year third, this year 6th (not 7th)

The U14 team is in 4th place, not second.

With that said, the season is far from over. All teams could turn it around and climb much higher. The U17 team is doing better this year and the other teams have six games to earn points and climb in the standings.

First of all the list was not in order. We had the following finishes not in any particular order.

                                3,4,5,5,7 last year
                                2,3,5,6,7 This year current place.

                                Last year record after 7 games was 13W 19L 3T -13 GD
                                This year record thru 7 games was 14W 16L 5T -6 GD

The U14 are tied for 3rd place (the placing is alphabetical)

There is a slight improvement overall compared to last year even though the U16s have completely blown up.

I have not calculated in the BUSA scores yet and we have yet to play OC. I would argue that our numbers will continue to be better this year even after the BUSA scores are calculated and after the OC scores get added in.

What we have is one team that imploded for a multitude of different reasons.

I think the club as a whole is doing drastically better considering the fact that our 2nd best team from last year(finished 4th) is now our worst team by record this year. Imagine how well the club would be doing if they actually kept the ball rolling? or if they actually turn their season around?
