The Atlantic Div is much more competitive than the NE. That's another given.

I noticed how you left out Washington State Maryland, who beat NYCFC this season, and is in second place in the division. LISC lost to them 4-0 in their first game, and beat them 4-1 in the second meeting. They lost to Penn Fusion 2-1, close game. That's their only two losses.

I'm not saying they are ready for the world cup by any means. Just giving credit where it's due. MF and GB are doing something right with the training.
Something right with the training or something right with recruiting? No doubt the additions from Fury have helped the 04 team, but where is LISC going to get the players to help the 05s? That's the real test of "the training"...adding a few strong players and playing the weaker teams in your conference doesn't mean anything. I'd love to see how this team would fare against NYCFC, NEFC, Oakwood...you know, the weak competition in NE.

no one was recruited. players left willingly. positive environment with like-minded people. the positive energy is what has translated to the field. you'd just love for the negative banter to get your gears going. distraction from your current state of affairs. no need to worry, what we got going on works for us. you can keep that bravado and negative energy you all got in the NE. we are good love, enjoy.

Relax and don't get hung up on semantics...the question was -is it the training or the newly acquired players that were trained and played for other clubs prior to "willingly" joining LISC that has resulted in a slight improvement in the 04 team?
If it is the training, then what the heck is happening with the 05 team? Do they use a different training method for that team?

05s are mostly 8th graders - so will they want to give up HS next year for that hot mess?

What happens with the 04 age group next year?

Depends if LISC gets the badge back for U16/7 next year or not. If they don't they'll have to find other options. If they do then the club will likely try and bring in more players (older) and cut some of the 04s. that's generally how it goes for that age transition - half the players get cut, sometimes even more in favor of older players, or get offered a Pre-academy teams spot in the hopes of keeping them another year.

When does that decision happen and who makes it?

The LISC 05/06 are improving. Any reasonable person know it doesn't happen overnight.

You keep repeating the "weaker teams" comment, but that's BS and you know it.
The LISC 04 beat Empire (in your conference) which you said previously "has never been any good". But guess what? There are 3 teams below Empire in the NE standings!! Here are the bottom 4:

                  Empire 2-4-1
                  Sky Blue 2-5-1
                  FC Fury 1-5-0
                  Alby Fury 0-6-1

Every team in the Atlantic has won at least 3 games with the exception of WSV
                  WSV 0-6-1

The NE has 4 competitive teams, the Atlantic has 7. That's why the NE is a weaker conference..

Timing who knows, probably late spring. It's decided by USSF.

the training is actually quite good. comparatively its a whole 180 from the alternative. the culture that was created, the transparency between coaches, players and parents has been a game changer. the team is developing. you cannot just plug some players in and expect that they will make all the difference. sure its a value add, but what team progresses with selfishness? one of the many reasons we moved on. no one on the team is an individual - they push each other at practice and they put their best efforts forward in games.

its a complete revamp of the club and the operations, controls, and coaching is nothing like it was last year.

come to a practice, try-out - talk to the staff. it'll change what you thought about how these clubs are run. or don't that's fine too. either way, we are good love, enjoy.

The club has already announced on their website that they will have a U16/U17 team next year. The U15 will just move into that age group.

If they can recruit better players they will or at least they should. That is what a good club does - continually improves its rosters. U15 players not getting much PT should have other options lined up. Never count on anything.

Oh, if they announced it, it must be so.

lol so true. It isn't up to LISC to decide but USSF. If they don't see that the club has improved they won't get the slot.

Not at Fury or LISC but the 2004 LISC is solid and if Fury has one DA they would be solid too. Having three teams on LI is not the right thing. And we have two ECNL teams. Ideally one DA and two ECNL is what is needed. Will this ever happen?
