I could show players from BU, Colgate, Lehigh, and Brown in the MLS, but you have already made up your mind. Actually 95% of D1 teams get few MLS players.

Please illuminate, and Iíll show you 98%+ who didnít go pro in the IV/PL in the last 40 years, let alone the last 10. I am not suggesting they are not great players, just that you donít go to these schools to go pro.

So if you are recruited as an impact player at Dartmouth, letís say 4 of those per season and then a handful of others to fill the roster, you have a 25% chance of going pro.

For schools like Harvard and BU, about 10% of the impact players, still not bad.

Certainly better odds than virtually no chance.

also keep in mind not everyone at these schools wants to go pro. salaries in soccer are not life changing (if you know what I mean).

Agreed, an Ivy graduate has a lot of good options. But for an Ivy Soccer impact player, a pro career might be one.

For the women's side 40-60% is much more the norm rather than the exception - more scholarships and far fewer international players
Note only 4 of 12 on the ACC Coachesí watchlist are from North America...
