The northeast just doesn't have a strong showing when it comes to selections, old or young. Take out NJ (which some would) then it's way worse. Roster pools of 40-60 or more (not just final selections) show the Midwest, TX and west dominate by a huge margin. Note: I did this quickly and may have missed 1-2 but you get the general idea https://www.soccerwire.com/u-s-u-15-...ter-pool-2018/

    U14 1CT, 1NY, 4NJ

    U15 1NY, 1NJ

    16: 2NJ, 1CT

    U17: 2 MA, 2NJ, 1NY

    U18: 6 NJ

    U19: 1MA, 1NY, 6NJ

    U20: 2NY, 3NJ, 1MA

    U23: 2NH, 8NJ, 1CT

But you are right - plenty of players get tapped in college. If she is all that then she has another shot at impressing scouts.
Hey Nico- urAnus.... Ca has 40 Million people
CT has 3.5 million. Not ever close & such a bad comparison.

Btw We are doing just fine with our winters- thank you.

Other areas, especially CA, have top clubs and top players who go to top college programs. CT is a pimple on the azz of US soccer.

Consider this - there are large swaths of the country where soccer is a complete nonfactor and will rarely have even one top player. For the number of players in the system and the amount of money spent in the NE you'd think area clubs would have a bigger impact. Even the state of NY isn't all that big on the national scene. NJ yes.

340 million people in the US but yet we can’t qualify for the Men’s WC.

We do however have a fantastic TS forum with people who know how to solve our Soccer issues.

There's some posters that might actually do a better job than the knuckleheads at USSF. Plenty have been pointing out the failures of BDA for years, as well as predicted the flop that is GDA. Couldn't be worse anyway.

Being an anonymous board that might be difficult eh? You can't honestly think USSF is doing a good job.

But it's quite easy to sit behind the keyboard and offer nothing but criticism, isn't it?

Do you think any of these "experts" really have a viable solution to these challenges?

If so, then why haven't we seen any of them detailed here in the thousands upon thousands of critical posts?

Could it be the case of talking the talk versus walking the walk?

Do you think you can offer up any organization that is in a position to do a better one?
