You are right, because every coach is only out to play the weakest competition possible. Tool.

The high school coaches schedule their own games and next year the coaches are not required to play every school in their district and they can schedule with whatever schools they so choose. The high school coaches are going to band together and not schedule to play high schools who allow GDA players to pop onto their teams after the holidays or they will be sure to schedule the games at the beginning of the season when their is no chance of GDA players showing up to play.

GDA will fold in Florida after another season and ECNL will continue to grow and expand. More girls will be leaving GDA at the end of this year to play ECNL and HS soccer next season. Girls want to play HS soccer and GDA has no plans of allowing HS Soccer.

I think Foudy really nailed it about creating or keeping the joy to play. Also the importance of being on the team and being a good teammate. Not just the DA, but especially so because it is sold on the individual development. Your team is just the stepping stool needed.
