What does “mostly plays his internationals” even mean? Check the stats, there are 6 internationals that get quality PT, the rest are Americans. The players have a shot at PT, need to come in and perform.

If your claim is that they will never play, then why would you think they’re getting any $$? RR isn’t offering money to “practice cones”.

no one posts that until they are seniors. D1 is a junior year game so if they say they have 15 I'm probably not doubting it.

First off it’s not 15 but only 10 committed thus far. Still a good number. Balance should be locked up this spring.

CFC essentially is only a girl's club. FSA definitely doesn't put much effort into the girls side

Not many CT players let alone OW players have been playing much at UCONN. He can give some token $ to in state players knocking their already low bill lower.

Top Drawer isn't necessarily updated. Its a starting point but its missing kids for sure.

www.topdrawersocccer.com you can search the commitments by grad year and state.

Looks like 11 juniors in CT are verbally committed to D1 schools. I'm sure there are more but that's a nice start for CT and it's only November.

Now that players can't officially commit until junior year these lists will be later than what they used to be.

Players cannot "officially" commit until November of Senior year. Hence the signing ceremonies.

The juniors are all verbal. Nothing binding. If the coach leaves they are probably SOL and if the player decides to go another direction it's within their right. Most of these tend to hold up though.

The rule changes prohibit on campus contact with kids until Sept 1st of junior year. Big programs will work around this rule but most kids want to tour the campus, actually meet the staff and team. With that rule change, most commitments will now happen after Sept 1st of junior year. Keep in mind that up until this spring, coaches couldn't contact players prior to Sept 1st of senior year. I guess the NCAA was doing a little give and take here. Pump the brakes on recruiting of 9th and 10th graders and in exchange let them have a more open recruiting period with juniors. It should result in the 2003 and younger classes having a commitment list that evolves much later.

Exactly they will now start announcing their verbal commitments junior year. No more freshman/sophomore "commitments" because theoretically they're not supposed to be talking about recruiting. It's still going on, of course, thanks to loopholes.
