Unless you can figure out how to make all teams equal - youth rankings are necessary to keep tournament brackets mostly competitive. Nobody wants to pay tournament fees to win/lose 10-0.

The thing I don't like about this site is that it assumes that your team is trying it's best when it plays all other teams. Lets say your team is ranked high and you play a way lower ranked team. The ranking systems expects you to beat them by a certain number of goals. If you don't make that number, you lose points. Even if you win.
Not every team plays to beat other teams down. A good majority of teams change their line-up for development reasons when playing weaker competition. Why does a better team need to beat another team down 10-0? They can change things up and win 4-0. A win is a win but not in this ranking system.

Only way for those teams to rank high is to play these tournaments. Main thing is to not get caught up in any of these rankings. Both gotsoccer and this ranking site are not true representations of team rankings, that's a fact.
Not that this site is any more accurate than any other, but at least know what your talking about when making a statement. usyouth rankings it does not matter if the game was in a tournament or league etc, it treats them all the same. Got soccer only includes leages/tournamets that use their system. Example if south florida league was in gotsoccer there would be some teams compiling a ton of points, but they are not. You can play in brevard league 3 or 4 games and get 500 points for 3rd place. You can go to CASL but in the lower brackets and got soccer gives 0 points because they do not use their system.

Looks like the TBU 03 ENCL girls team is struggling if you look at this site and the ENCL scores. I would not be a happy parent to see my clubs top team ranked above our 2nd team in ANY rankings. And I definitely wouldn't want to see them ranked below Celtic.

YSR is head and shoulder more accurate that GotSoccer. In my experience, it has been pretty darn accurate as to the strength of the teams we face. Maybe the exact ranking is off but when you're dealing with hundredths or tenths of a point, there's bound to be some variance.
I've found that the teams ranked higher than ours are tougher, the teams ranked lower are weaker, and the teams right around us are evenly matched.
