In fairness, it doesn't take much "poaching" to want to leave WFF.

Yoyo did a fantastic job developing her at WFF. It is well known to be the best GK you have to spend time developing at WFF with Yoyo.

I don't know zorro, but thanks. She's a great girl and an amazing athlete. Definitely an asset to TBU.

Sounds like people (parents) are excited about their gk daughter joining a college that Carries 30+ girls on their roster. Several in state players are brought in to help with the team goal average. Also they can be great practice players! 30 players means that basically 40% of the team doesn't travel on away games! I wonder how many other college D1 programs in this state carry such a big roster?

This is incorrect information. Years ago BB carried as large roster. But this year they were down to 21. Very old news.

FSU carries 24. What's the problem?

I had the assistant coach st U of F tell me they carry too many on their roster and most never see the field. Granted that was about 1-2 years ago. Has it truly changed? We wrote them off

Krikorian will also tell you he only carries a girl on the squad if she is going to play and contribute. He is a class act. Great guy. Knows my daughter by name and likes her but he is also honest enough to say she is right for a lot of programs but not his. I truly wish more coaches were as up front and as honest as he is. He recommends her to other programs.

It actually sounds like people (parents) are very, very jealous of another girl's success and huge accomplishment. Get over it and focus on your own daughter.

2018 Roster - Looks like 27 field players and 3 GK = 30 players on roster.
Feel free to come up with proof to substantiate your claim of 21 players
Many of these players will NEVER see the field. Even in Garbage time

Not to mention there are only 14 scholarships per team so most are not getting a free ride unless they are in the top 11-14 of the team. As long as a player is going to a school because they like it for academics then they will be happy otherwise many will chase being a starter in college only to end up transferring.

Soooooo. What's the problem. Too many friends? To much support? Too much fun? Most schools carry 25-30. Vanderbilt carries 30. Princeton 29. UCF 30.

There are no schools that carry less then 20+ so what is your point?

Take up boxing or tennis if you don't understand the concept of team and how rewarding it is while pursuing a education. You parental thinking on this is a big part of the problem in youth sports.

Spoken like a true loser and probably passing on this defeatist attitude to your daughter as well. Believe it or not, some kids, given the opportunity, actually want to accept the challenge of breaking into the first team, playing against the best and maybe even playing for a title one day.

It's amazing how many people would rather walk away from something difficult rather than face it.

Many of you would benefit from attending AB's TBU seminar on the college soccer experience. You would learn a lot. It might be a better use of your time than bashing a kid who works very hard and landed a spot at a top SEC program.
