you would think by now that anyone trying to start a semi or pro soccer team in this state, using state funds will never get it going. Only way to get that kind of team going would have to rely only on private funding and no one with half a brain would invest that amount of money in this state.

If he's innocent, he's innocent. His prior club reinstated him after the finding.

I’d be skeptical very skeptical... wouldn’t be his first run in with any hooliganism...
And if any one here is keeping a tab on this site from the Hartford Pro Camp, take my advice and listen carefully. British laws are completely different in regards to the protection of criminals or the accused. You won’t get a background check if you cried bloody mercy..,
“ The Right to be Forgotten “ clears a criminal past and you’d never know what he or she did.
Buyer beware it’s just not worth it.

Besides why do you care? Did you invest heavily in the club and are worried about your investment? Doubtful. He's not a youth coach. He's been acquitted and has permission to work here and had was working at another club before. What if he really was innocent? Crazy I know but sometimes people are.

You have no idea what “ The Right to be Forgotten” is. The US is the easiest place in the world in getting one’s criminal or credit history by simply googling someone’s name. If you vote the database shows where you were registered and who the Party is you voted for, All free no charge ...Try it after you read this post.
In other countries like the UK you’ll get Zippo, Nada... nothing. The rules are completely different in many places but extremely strict in the UL concerning privacy law.
If someone is approved “ The Right to be Forgotten “ that background will not be available to US immigration visa officials. Different if he was a known terrorist or has Interpol suspicion.
But normal channels for local crimes will not be revealed.
