This is the reason why certain DOC/coaches feel empowered to look at parents with demeanor.
Have things clear, the ones empowered are the ones paying, without parents checks your club just disappears. Yes, but do hold high respect for some coaches and they for sure have my friendship and my kid’s gratefulness. But loyalty to a club? Come on, there is no club good enough to make me stay if I’m not satisfy with their service.

    Client pays for a service.

This whole notion that clubs are just businesses is what is 100% wrong with youth sports.

Clubs generate loyalty in families when the leaders and coaches of the club invest themselves in the families (parents and players).

Most parents don't give a rat's *ss if their kid learns the finer points of soccer, they want their kid to develop into a driven, well adjusted, goal oriented, human being that knows how to contribute to a team and work through adversity. Some coaches are really good at that and some coaches are really only good at placing cones on the ground.
Oh please. Soccer is a sport. Family is sacred. Parents love their children and don’t ask them to pay a fee and demand loyalty. You think that’s what’s wrong with youth sports?? Maybe that’s what’s wrong with the families these days - when someone can equate youth sports with a family. Just pay the fee! Don’t be so gullible.

I think you mean, crap clubs assume they generate loyalty when the pretend docs and coaches get paid to do their job. Fee based sucker.

Families cant be lured away by anyone if they are happy with the money they are spending on soccer. Its foolish to think that people spend money to buy the club loyalty. Loyalty is free and earned in other ways. Why do clubs say they are family when there is no resemblance to family at all! Families do not pay fees to one another. Someone has their priorities messed up.
It's really not all that complicated.

All the decent clubs provide a decent service for the money they charge - if your's does not you should leave for sure.

The exceptional clubs provide exceptional service for the money they charge and that generates loyalty.

          Next question?

If your coach/doc does not keep you up to date and answers every single of your questions. If you have to hunt him down after practice to talk and does not return your calls FIRE HIM! Take your money somewhere else, stop wasting your time and money in a club were coaches are not instructed to deliver the customer service you deserve for your money. Remember the one holding the checkbook it’s in charge. Don’t be dumb with your money.

Loyalty is not part of sports period .... the first time the coach benches your kid and the club tells you best players player and guest players play .... this is the way it is . I think everyone should Move form club to club every year! Keep clubs spinning they care but they will tell you go leave if you don’t like our rules ... everyone just leave move around leave clubs and watch lol !
