Lol toy think they'll have a normal fall season? They won't. And forget the November showcase. That won't happen.

GAL won't make it past next year regardless of Covid. ECNL will grab the last remaining good clubs next year and the league will be done. A one year wonder.

Probably a delay start like NY.

I don't see GAL, ECNL or upper level EDP playing any league games prior to Mid Spring 2021. There is no way anyone is taking their family to a quarantine state for a soccer game and quarantining for the next 14 days.

Best hope is local HS, MS, club soccer inside the state. If the NJ clubs (regardless of leagues) can come together and play each other that may be the only solution prior to travel quarantining/bans being lifted.

Agreed. Forget Current leagues. NJ clubs should just reach out to each other and set up their own league. NJ temporary league. NJTL consisting of GAL ECNL and top EDP clubs.

Will never happen too much greed when it comes to protecting $ and turf (no pun intended). Plus they have our $ already and can tap into another stimulus package shortly. Doesn’t get much better than that for the academies.

They can just set up scrimmages. No need for some "league"/structure to it. Hopefully clubs wouldn't try and suck too much $ from parents for it as it would be very limited.

Problem is if they don't have school sports it's possible outside sports will be off also.

If you paid your $ you’re done regardless of season no season or different format. You’re not seeing it back other than a couple hundred dollar credit for 21-22 season. It’s just reality so get used to it. The coaches did nothing wrong they just trying to earn a living.

You’re just totally wrong though arent you.

The main issue with school sports is bussing kids to away games. It’s impossible to maintain social distance on a school bus. Not to mention you wouldn’t be allowed to have their friends watch from the bleachers.

Club soccer is way easier as we drive our kids to the games and it’s usually only the parents watching. Club is so much easier to manage.
