I wouldn't be surprised if your kid was one of the kids on the MF Shore team that held full contact team practices when the rest of the country was on shut down. Wouldn't be surprised if your going to Jeff Cup, regardless of the quarantine, coming back and going right back into practices without self quarantining. But then again, why would you? Some of those things you’re using as crazy conspiracy theories to make your point aren’t actually all that crazy, and there are tons of questionable “facts”. Not taking a hard stance on any of it, because all any of us know is what we’re told and what we’ve read, but its always a good idea to have a healthy amount of skepticism of all perspectives when there are so many conflicting and changing stories... don’t be so quick to accept that the truth you’ve chosen to believe is the actual truth. What does media coverage or an election have to do with facts about the virus? Either they'll be a lot or a little amount of cases in the winter, either there will be a treatment or there won't be, and either there will be travel restrictions or there won't be. Viewing the situation through the eyes of an election is dishonest IMO.

The question is what is the probability of fall tournaments. He best answer other than definitively no is “slim to none”. Too many negative variables with no state uniformity. Every state will have different rules. You cannot expect to travel to tournaments in MD, VA, NC, FLA this fall. With the spike in each state changing you cannot expect teams from NY, NJ, CT, MA traveling. Too many safety issues. Our only hope starts in 97 days when Trump gets thumped in the election and then in January new administration will work with the Tate Governs on iformity in tackling this virus nationwide with the help of the medical community. Hopefully by late March/April 2021 we can return to some level of normalcy. With no college fall sports you cannot expect soccer tournaments till Spring 2021.

That will come to a halt soon enough, especially as fall HS sports start to close down. In-state may happen but not interstate ones. The November GAL event? No way, especially since people would ideally start making travel plans in the next few weeks. CA is flaming red hot now and brining together people from across the US for a tournament? Not happenning.

The GAL and ECNL national tourneys are dead in the water no way they are happening. Shame we will spend all that $$ for nothing again.
