...and the Revs are just flat out not that good at development. So 4 years after any player joins the Revs, they really aren't much better. Maybe even relatively worse than if they were with another team.

One of the main reasons for this is that the Revs simply don't have enough training opportunities. They train only 3 days per week (2 if they had a long trip on the weekend), which is often less than what incoming players had before they joined the Revs. The coaching is better than this list gives the club credit for having, but there just isn't enough of it for the players to improve as much as they could.
