2018-19 ECNL board of directors club "drop" GDA and give themselves two teams in each age group in ECNL. This is the big move as these are a large number of the "best" clubs. Some smaller clubs that nobody outside of their immediate region know about move one way or the other.

2019-2020 Much less movement however the top Club movement is Crossfire going ECNL 'all-In' However Colorado, Tophat, and FC Dallas going GDA "all-In'. Once again, some smaller clubs that nobody outside of their immediate region know about move one way or the other.

The 2019-2020 season club movement to GDA is still grossly overshadowed by the 2018-2019 ECNL Board clubs going "all in' ECNL
When 50 of 80 clubs or even 40 club's leave and they're all the most elite top clubs, you can never recover from this historic rapture and it's natural to celebrate when a handful come back The league had been held together by middle rung and low level clubs that were willing to travel to play crap games, good luck in the rebuild. Remember the DA is here and embedded as the top youth platform in the states.this week the da clubs are Florida with all of the coaches in attendance.

All the best to US Club and USYS who serve the rest of the kids.

      It's not a bad turn out: http://www.ussoccerda.com/winter-cup...20registration

So why does the Thorns DA suck at marketing this kind of an opportunity locally?

This is pure hyperbole and wishful thinking.

50 clubs did not leave ECNL. 38 clubs gambled and did both because it was unclear which path would be best at the time. Since DA has failed, almost 20 clubs have abandoned DA to focus on ECNL. These are facts.

Colleges still see ECNL as the top platform for developing and recruiting players. Fact.

Because the list is not that impressive and full of duplicate and triplicate and worse of the same colleges.

Nearly 700 college coaches are scouting this week in florida at the da winter cup. These smart coaches aren't seeing any usys or us club teams or players. Since the lower tiered usys & us club (ecnl) teams/clubs are not allowed or invited to participate at the annual US Soccer DA event.

            Sorry this is a fact.

You are welcome to continue creating your own narrative on this hack forum, it's amusing fiction.

Smart coaches? Come on. No fact in that statement.

They go all over the country, DA, usys, us club, visit all kinds of showcase tourneys, national leagues, regional tourneys, etc. Get off your Da high horse. Your "narrative" is silly.

i got no dog in this fight, but why not remove the doubles/triples in that poorly put together list? there is still a wide swath of coach's from across the country at different levels of play. from an Oregon perspective, since only about 20 or so D1 commitments happen annually, this is decent opportunity for Oregon girls.

so why do the Thorns da suck so much in Oregon? seems like zero marketing efforts by then in the past couple of years.

Unlike the fantasy the DA isn't really the top tier of youth soccer, "because I think and preach otherwise".

Us Soccer has embedded and placed the DA level as the highest platform for youth. That happened, its a fact just like the MLS and NWSL are the top tier for pros. Not sure why you struggle with reality so much. As for your mental state I offer sympathy and suggest you get some education.

Oregon Girls at the club level and now DA top tier have never been relevant, which is also a fact.

Pre Us club ecnl our girls were fodder in the usys, Pre DA our girls were fodder in us club ecnl and usys. Now with a DA embedded the girls our fodder in the DA highest tier.

The needle hasn't moved it's the same sad song.

Your statement saying college coaches still see ECNL as the top platform for developing and recruiting is interesting to me. Where are you getting your “factual” information to back this statement up?
Here is what I know and can support. Oregon teams are playing against some of the best players in the nation. What I mean by this is players with national team experience or national camp experience. Girls are competing against this level of player on a regular basis (almost every game) There is no better way to evaluate a potential recruit then having that player play against some of the best in the country and seeing how they fair.

If college coaches don’t think this is the best platform not sure why USC (made elite 8 this year) Washington State (Final 4) and other top D1 programs are on the sidelines in Florida. There are college coaches at almost every league game in the DA. Im not saying that they don’t recruit elsewhere because great players come from all places. Your statement is more of an assumption than a FACT. You know what they say about assumptions?

Your entitled to your opinion, absolutely. US Soccer's opinion unfortunately trumps in this case. DA has the top shelf by design and function and hundreds of coaches flock to their events. All the best in the rebuild of the us club girls league, it's great Oregon is supplying outlier clubs into a self proclaimed 'national league'. Good luck with that.

Changing leagues doesn't change reality, lost on your silly ilk.

Nearly 700? LOL. This is the problem with your posts. They contain made-up nonsense and figures, so you can't be taken seriously. Are you smoking the ganj again?

Yes 690 listed in this spreadsheet, once you pass 650 you get closer to 700. This is why you struggle, facts matter.
