So what? They make serious bank on a couple days of tryouts. None of you’re business. $35,000 isn’t that much anyways. Start talking about something important.

I have to say, it is pretty awesome that you have nothing better do than write posts to yourself. You are not very bright, but you are very consistent.
The best part is after you called out the one person who is simply replying to their own posts over and over and over and over again, that same person tried to bury your comment by replying to their own posts over and over and over again.

Pretty funny how they keep taking the bait. What a complete clown!

That covers most of the travel with parent money. Great.

Are you seriously complaining about them making $35,000 for tryouts? Don’t you have anting else to do? It’s amazing you can’t find other things to complain about like the poor teams in GDA or the weather. Give me a break.

US Soccer is a joke and everyone ignores them. The men’s team will be doing laundry and mowing lawns during the World Cup.

The fee is $125 but the turnout members are higher so the net is probably close.

Serves them right for a half baked low energy effort in qualifiers.

Are you really trying to shame them for making a profit? I'm not even sure what to say about that. Are you critical of other businesses that make money?

Not the OP, but given that one of the GDA's written objectives is to level the playing field from the current "pay to play" system and make elite soccer accessible to all, regardless of ability to pay, I think it's very appropriate to criticize an obscenely high tryout fee.

Hahahahahahah that's rich considering that the only clubs who got a hall pass to play in the league are the biggest offenders of the pay to play system.

$500 per year to play , too expensive? What are you smoking?

Because your idiot self doesn't realize that 500$ is a magical number you made up but doesn't apply to most DA teams who are getting billed the lot.

Pretty lucky that the Timbers were able to offer this at $500. True, that the womens side is more expensive 2k, but still more affordable than many local options.

                              Dear angry person,
Most DA teams in this country pay nothing at all , some charge a small admistrative fee.

Have heard the DA thing is struggling. PDX group not thrilled with program that they run. Seems odd that for the bargain basement price it's a loser.
