    Girls Playoff Predictions

Very competitive this season. Here are my thoughts

D1 - Think it's Exeter's to lose. They are deepest team in D1 and most physical.

D2 - Bow is clearly the class of this Division

    D3 - Could be Bishop Brady's year

D4 - Toss up between Newmarket and Sunapee

    Girls Soccer predicitions

DI: Central and Exeter are the obvious choice.. however Winnicunnet could be the sleeper. They are very solid and could beat both Central and Exeter if they play their best soccer.

DII: Bow should win the whole thing, the issue in DII is there are too many teams in the top 6 that played weak schedules and they are pretenders instead of contenders. Souhegan and Milford played weak schedules and could go out in early rounds if not careful. Oyster River is the sleeper this in DII - they could make it back to the championship.

DIII: This is a wide open division this year. Brady? Long shot. Hopkinton, Raymond, Fall Mountain, and Campbell are all contenders and I predict two of them will be in the finals. Prospect Mt. could be the sleeper.

DIV: It is the same every year - Sunapee and Newmarket - they are the only soccer schools in DIV worth mentioning.

Don't rule out Bedford in D1. Give them a good set of refs against Exeter, a clean game, and they could pull it off. And they beat Central.

D2 - Hanover could be the sleeper here.

      D3 - Raymond

      D4 - Sunapee

Well, once you used "Exeter" and "clean game" in the same sentence, you lost me there.

No doubt. Cheapest team in the state. It's a shame because they don't need to be. It's been the team culture for some time.

Don't rule out Londonderry for D1. They are a young team and starting to peak. Could be the spoiler of the group.

For D2 Hanover and Bow are 2 best.

No idea on the other divisions

Just look at the coach. Nothing further to add.

Bishop Brady? Totally inflated record. They have improved but they played one of the weakest schedule in D-3 with few of the southern tier schools (no Raymond, Campbell or Hopkinton). There coach or AD was smart to play all the tomato cans.

In D1 Alvirne loss and Londonderry win moves Londonderry into potential Bedord, Exeter bracket. That's a tough road against two of the favorites. Still, they are peaking at right time.

                      Brackets explanation

Can anyone explain the D1 playoff brackets? How many get a bye then how does the rest of the field line up?

                        D1 playoffs. Top 4 get byes. 5 plays 12 (winner plays 4), 6 plays 11 (Winner plays 3), 7 plays 10 (winner plays 2) and 8 plays 9 (winner plays 1).

Be surprised if anyone takes down Exeter this year. They dominated their bracket and get a home game for the finals. Why the girls don't play at SNHU is beyond me.

D2 winner will come out of Bow, Hanover, John Stark bracket.
