The real deal talent come up with creative solutions to develop their talent with or without gda training but everyone understands what must be done if they want to play on the ussf teams.

Much of a player's development is their own hard work. Clubs are also notorious for "claiming" players when the player was there for a very short time. It's all a gimmick. Don't be fooled by these silly claims (same with college placement claims - it doesn't reflect what your particular player needs or will experience, and may not be fact based).
the good Clubs are not claiming anything more than i just said. There are not many one club players who end up playing at high levels and yet everyone is a star. Go figure.

When you go to a training camp who pays?!
If the player does it’s not very impressive if the federation does
Hats off

Does ODP still exist inNY?
ODP is still around but very weak, especially past U14. Better players are in DA or ECNL by then.
They get better training and competition there, along with excellent college coach exposure

For most teams its a weak regular schedule, followed by overwhelming opponents at national events, and we would know, as we have done this. I hate the ECNL and their country club atmosphere, but they do provide a better game-to-game schedule, which is always preferable to prepare the team for national events....
