FC Daddy-O it is! Come one, come all. The future is bright. #Letsjustplay
Yes I do think so. Dad coaches bring unity and family atmosphere to a team. More teams are noticing this and doing it.

So if there is a daddy or mommy coach does it mean we can do away with team dinners?

No. Families should always eat together.

Can someone define what a dad coach is. Is it a coach, with credentials, who happens to have a kid on the team, or is it a dad, who has no coaching credentials, but dresses up like a coach and plays the part in an effort to prop up his own kid who really isnít good enough to make the team on her own

We just moved to the area and are looking for an ECNL club for our daughter. We are looking for a dad coach, one who has no coaching credentials, but dresses up like a coach. We like coaches that put the team second behind their other team, we think that is a plus. We also want a DOC that provides no help and lets the coaches and parents run the club. Most important, we want a team where we can show up on our time, so if we have basketball or lax, we can go to those, and attend soccer when we have time in our schedule. Are there any ECNL clubs like that in PA?

This sounds like most clubs. Just watch out for the really low level RL league. Itís a rip and I wouldnít suggest it. Try ecnl or da. Edp is good. Or even icsl or pags is better than the dreaded RL

Sorry, we only want an ECNL team with checked out coaches. Also, a Dad coach is a must!

What about one that specializes in back room deals - if so Bucks is your club- but hurry get your tickets to JMís meeting before they sell out! Tryouts are coming and the team will be picked BEFORE tryouts!
