But you are missing my point... it's still awful soccer! Painful to watch, void of any sense of intelligence. Panic style soccer where players don't even respect each other because they know with a little pressure on the player who has the ball it all falls apart.

But hey if it makes you feel better, sure let's play that league-wide tournament so the Seniors can be happy and their parents feel accomplished... no matter the kick and run kung-fu style system of play.

It does not have to be like this.... there is a better way, and that's what makes me sad.
I haven't posted yet. My son's team doesn't play kick and run. Are they as good as his club team? no, but they are enjoying it, having he has fun playing the kids he grew up playing with (even some of his football friends tried out), and yes, overall makes him feel better. And yes, they are looking forward to the end of season league tournament.

you comment because...? it bothers you that others enjoy their kid's soccer experience? seems an enjoyable topic, but some like to bark at the moon...some are just miserable by nature

You’re clueless. You could say the same things about some club, college, or pro teams. Poor play is the exception more than the rule with most MA HS leagues due to the relatively high number of club players.

If you don’t agree go to another thread and spank off to your favorite teenage club league.

Were you tired after the game? I assume from your excitement you must have played significant minutes.

Hah, Bellingham doesn't deserve to play and Medway would be last in any other league...

Are any schools not allowing parents at games?

Only if they are Covid positive :)

Some HS leagues only allowed one spectators per player at first, but the MIAA now allows two. Don’t know any that are barring all spectators.
