Do they have a winter program ready to go?...
The details should be all complete and advertising should be rolling out THIS WEEK
We barely have enough space for our teams. I don’t think they can have outside training programs with the limited space. They are still trying to schedule home games for the fall I doubt they have a plan for the winter.

Barca Academy = 90 minutes of rondo's. Parents that have kids who come from programs that have low-level coaching drool over the site of a properly executed rondo. That's their secret, play rondos, and make the simple pass or "play the pass you see." Basically, pick your head up. This with the shape and structure learned from rondos and you will have a competitive team. Throw in some athletes and you have a top division team. Add a coach that can adjust his players mid-game and your "mucho peligroso."

That's the recipe. Do your homework and execute it.

That is how pep took over the premier league? It is not as simple as rondo, but these premier teams can’t play rondo to save their lives.
I watch top top teams not be able to make decisions other than “plays at first” American little league coaching. It is not as easy as play the way you face. It takes a very advanced coach to know when to correct, and when to allow to learn via trial and error. These Barca coaches grew up in the system...it will take a generation to get there.

They didn’t even keep the better Barca coaches. The better coaches all moved on and now it’s local coaches who pretend to be Barca coaches. The local coaches didn’t grow up in the system and the actual Barca coaches that are here are not good. The better coaches were smart and transferred out of this mess.

Not the better Barca coaches, they all left. These are coach that couldn’t catch on anyplace. The better ones went back to Spain, Miami, or other Barca Escolas. All the “Pro” teams are a shell of what they were a year ago.

I would not say a shell by any means.
Covid absolutely hit them hard, but they are still here.
If they can get into the black...then the future is bright.
For them and for Long Island Soccer Culture.
They train the same way they have...that is the beauty.
The sessions are coming from a BIG organization.

By the results from the East Meadow and SUSA tournament I would say a shell of what they were. This was against local teams not even top teams in the region which they were beating last year. This is no different from any other foreign professional club that tries to license the brand here in NY. It started hotter than any other but fizzled out just the same.

It doesn’t matter where the sessions come from if the coaches don’t understand the game.

unfortunately, the 2006 and 2004 teams are rebuilding. It will take some time for the new players to fully adapt to that style. The 2005 team who for the most part stayed intact performed well in both East Meadow and SUSA tournaments.

NOT A WORD OF THIS IS TRUE- OK- maybe one of the coaches here isn't up to snuff, BUT the one's that left or were moved were certainly NOT the best trainers.

Not a joke when they are the only option. How did the 06 do in these 2 jokes ?
