    Future of Barca

So word on the street is....the management at Barca has been better.
They swooped in and grabbed Colman after Alby left.

    Now what is next...
    Do they have numbers?
    They have great training.
Moving to Nassau should interest more families, and that area is starving for good training.

Coleman and Cantiga are short term solutions at best. They are going to need to get fields that are theirs somehow. Technically the Kings Park fields are not dead, but the relationship between them and Barca may be.

We are new to barca this year. converted from SUSA. it was a bit of nail biting at first with all the scrambling for fields and teams changes. But since our team was solidified its been a really amazing experience for my child. You can actually see my daughters improvements from week to week. She really enjoys the coaches and the culture. And lastly the training is light years ahead of anything we experienced at SUSA.

Not True. You have LISC and East Coast FC in Nassau.

Management hasn’t been better, same old Barca with false promises. Many of the top team players are not happy and at other clubs training.

I do not think they need fields of their own...but just a long term commitment.
If the training is consistent with Barca methods, and they stay with the fields they have then they can always expand, because the foundation is there.
Then they can get enrollment up get several teams per age group...then move up their leagues to the national level.

My opinion- Don't really care if you agree.

Barca NY's managerial system has done a complete 180 since the summer ended- They have added some quality people to their program and are NOW extremely organized FINALLY using scheduling/info Apps/platforms, with much more communication.
BTW- you can always upgrade fields and facilities.

We have been with Barca for 3 years and just like MANY other people, we almost left the club. We are very glad that we didn't.

AT BARCA, IT'S ALL ABOUT DEVELOPMENT, NOT size, aggressiveness, in your face, high pressure running, as well as kick and run soccer like MOST of the Clubs in NY, NJ, and CT.
YES, even MLS league clubs don't develop, they take very good players and keep them very good or they get cut because there was no development.

Good Luck to all the LI teams this weekend.

Haven’t received a full uniform in 4 years and kids are playing with taped numbers on their backs. The quality of trainers has decreased big time this year. Most of the good coaches moved on and only have 4 coaches from Barcelona. The local coaches are not very good. When they cut ties with Prospect they said they had great facilities lined up and we train on the small fields at Coleman(Valencia gets the big field). The communication has improved the last few weeks. Hopefully that’s the start of a turn around. And now they have someone patrolling the blogs the way SUSA does. In the past they didn’t care about these sites.

Barca should then schedule their home games! Disaster

There are plenty of teams scrambling for fields...so no shocker there.
I think they could bring more revenue if they offered supplemental training for players on other teams that need more.

They should open a branch in north NJ. There would be huge demand for both club teams and supplemental training. They can start with supplemental training to test the waters.

If they can’t figure out New York what makes you think they could figure out New Jersey where there are more high level academies

Supplemental training or even teams in lijsl that don’t conflict with EDP teams would boost there recognition. Now that they have Colman there is no reason to not be fully packed with kids.
Do they have a winter program ready to go?...
The details should be all complete and advertising should be rolling out THIS WEEK
