Thank you! Very informative. What is the "composite" team people have talked about on here before?

The only clubs that have multiple ECNLR teams are the clubs that also have multiple ECNL teams at each age group—Stars, PDA, Crossfire, Michigan Hawks, etc. ECNLR teams follow the same schedule as the ECNL teams. Would be very difficult to add a second ECNLR team for CFC from a scheduling perspective.

You can basically sign up and join the soccer team

Your arrogance is what gives CFCU parents a super bad rep. *Dbag!
Of course you don't "have to" have ECNL to play in college, but if you want to play at a certain level having it on your resume gives you a far better chance of achieving that. Plenty of coaches won't even look at you without it. Lower level D1 and D3, then sure the patch isn't a "necessity" but gives you a leg up with recruiting and better exposure.

Actually they do. As do most D1 programs.

Not all cfc players are cut out for or even want top level D1. If CFC is trying to build their other branches and give them a more competitive level that will help lead their players to college, even if its D3, its a good thing.
