Personal training as in working out at the gym with a trainer? Allowed
Personal training as in private coaching? Allowed
Training with or playing with another club of any kind? Not allowed but it doesn't stop some

Do you seriously believe that they get the necessary volume of tougmchss on the ball at their 3 team practices?
Do you have any idea the training schedule of European academies?
No, you have no idea, which is my your child will continue to be a mediocre player or below that.

By 8th grade - u14 for most kids - school is intense, especially for kids that train 2-2.5 hours 4x a week. Respect most parents decisions but for me at some point you need to focus academic-type skills where you kid will almost certainly spend the vast majority of his adult life.
Training hard and excelling at school are not mutually exclusive.
Play less Fortnite and spend less time watching Ninja on YouTube. Problem solved.

Which is why it’s stupid to criticize players putting in extra work. Who knows a what their goals are or what their potential is? Only them, so kudos for putting in the work.
