Replacing volunteer assistant college and assistant staff coaches at small schools with A and B licensed FYSA coaching instructors has to be plain stupid. What is this DOC thinking? Fire him already!

Why all the heat with this bug guy? He was with Coral Springs before and told his team the night before they were going to play in a tournament that he was leaving the club and then tried to take the players with him when he went to AC Delray? Then he stayed at AC Delray for a little bit and while working there was also working with FC Florida and then Palm Beach Gardens before getting kicked out of that club. He’s never been a DOC anywhere until Coral Springs came along. He was also a boys coach at Douglas and had two US national team players on his team that he inherited and still couldn’t win and got fired. Then he takes over a state champion at American Heritage Delray from his buddy Steve Burgess and can’t get past the regional Semi finals and gets canned from there when he couldn’t even get past districts. So he comes to Coral Springs and his first order of business is to partner with FC Prime claiming that it will lift Coral Springs to new heights. They put out a press release saying that they partnered with prime and that both clubs have proven their worst around the globe and prime is just the first year club with an idiot running it. What exactly has Coral Springs accomplished this year except get rid of at least three coaches that have coached locally and colleges and replaced them with a couple of coaches that are his buddies and have bounced around as much as he has? The club is on life-support and everyone knows it.

This club is an embarrassment! What has really changed? They still play in the same crap leagues and aside from the three nationally licensed coaches they keep touting, the rest of the staff sucks!

Really have to question what is different from this group to the last group that was here with the brothers? It is all a big money grab from a BOD that has no idea what they’re doing. The brothers didn’t have the coaching credentials but other than that there is no improvement in the trainings or in the product on or off the field. It just goes to show that having a license, especially in this case, is nothing more than having a drivers license. Just because you have one doesn’t mean you can drive. I also have the same question as one of the previous posters in that why does the DOC have a license that is less than some of the people on staff? I asked the same thing last year with PL. He didn’t have a license at all yet there were people on staff that went through the licensing program with US Soccer. It just goes to prove that DR and the BOD don’t do their homework.

Did you ever think that maybe they bought into the dog and pony power point show at the hotel thinking it would be better and after realizing it wasn't maybe it was too late and couldn't get the money back or other clubs were full? You may be at tryouts, but there will be a lot of people that won't be.
