The reason there hasn’t been a substantial increase in SS payments is because the established consistent method of determining them has considered it not necessary. You will notice that small increases occurred many times under Republican leadership. “ catching up” is just a nonsense assessment of the severity of the situation. Added to the misery of those on SS , are their potential losses regarding their Investments under the Biden administration. Additionally, is anyone asking why SNAP payments were increased more than SS? All of it imposed because of theories and fears of “ climate change” as if the earth has never experienced it. Following the lead of the corrupt UN , their “studies” , while they plunder the world.

Buy an EV is their answer, while they plead for you not to charge your vehicle at certain times. The average new ICE vehicle is 45K, the average new EV over 60K, insurance for an EV is 15-25% higher , but they don’t care. Pay property tax on a vehicle here in CT ? EVs will be more.And rising interest on car loans makes it even harder for working Americans. Under Biden,the market is upside down. Bidens energy policy has us producing much less,no longer energy independent ,no longer exporting our excess oil- gas is $359.99 and rising (was $5.00), Diesel at $6.00, heating oil in the $5.00 range and oil above 90
