You do know he covers more than soccer right? I never heard ruden say he was an expert in girls soccer. He covers the sport and does some profiles of athletes. Maybe he doesn’t profile the player that us soccer or jack thinks is the best player in the state and thus the hate. He try’s to cover athletes with other talents and highlight them as well. SWC schools in Fairfield County (Bethel, Barlow, Brookfield, Weston, Newtown, immaculate, New Fairfield, ND Fairfield, Stratford, Bunnell)
Some nice places to live, but not great for year round sports coverage.

Fciac schools are way more dominant than swc in hs sports.
But here’s some dynasties
New Fairfield girls and boys lacrosse
ND Fairfield boys basketball.
Immaculate girls soccer
Pomperaug girls cross country

The d1 college landscape is littered with new fairfield lax players and Nd fairfield hoopsters. Did a pomperaug kid ever beat Hannah diblasi? They may be big fish in the small pond, but let’s not call them dynasties please. You are embarrassing yourself.

A Pomperaug girls Xc runner Just won Saturdays New England champ as a sophomore. She was fifth as a freshman
Figured you would reply with some snobbery. Typical FCIAC. There’s plenty of good competition outside of the Fairfield Coast. Get your head out of your butt

His operation is what it is. But to accuse him of not covering athletes of color? Reality is Fairfield county doesn't have many people of color NOR does it have many standout athletes of any color. He's got to fill with content that gets him clicks and that's going to be the bigger, wealthier and successful programs. Next time Bridgeport Central has a winning team give him a jingle.

I never once said that SWC was better but rather pointed out that other parts of the county and state have had athletic success. You of course jumped right into a measuring contest
It’s Mary Albl who is the cross country writer not Mary Alibi. LOL. Nice try though
