Your team couldn’t score. That’s where the blame should lie.
Parents of field players often blame GKs when it was their kids' ten mistakes that led to the shot on goal. Yes GK make mistakes and when it happens no one feels worse about it than they do. Pathetic that adults are going after her. Many may not realize the reason our state finals are shared in the event of a tie, rather than PKs, is because a number of years ago a GK committed suicide after losing in the final.

It’s truly amazing how biased ppl see games. Like I’m sure you feel like the 2 yellow cards the Staples girls got weren’t yellows, the breakaway (and best chance of the game) gbury missed after the goal wasn’t the best chance of the game, because there was a scramble in the box off a corner in which the gk saves easily is a scoring chance.
The most dangerous chances in the game, by both teams, were the missed breakaway by gbury after the goal. The missed chance by Staples when the gbury gk got injured and a good near post shot in the second half that the Staples gk made a good save on. Other than that, an evenly matched hs kickball fest.

For what it's worth, Ruden described Gbury as having the better possession/run of play.

Also described glastonbury as the losers

Im surprised at the lack of class a program that has been as successful in the past as Glastonbury seems to show in defeat. Winning (in the past) I guess covered all their warts.

Until recently, they have been the queens of CCC, gotten the first seed and justified the first seed by winning it all. Recently, they have proved to be overrated (as defined by performance (< top 2) vs seed (#1)

Overrated? They make it to the semis every year in LL with kids that live in one zip code. They also win championships. How have they shown a lack of class? If anything, I would say you are the pot calling their kettle black.

No longer can wear the crown, have to settle of the tiara. So sad to see the CCC poster child fall from grace.....not!

Not sure where classless comes in at all. Matter of fact it appeared the players on both teams had great respect for each other. The one who lacks class or lacks any bias is you. Last year they lost on pk's to the champion. This year they lost 1-0 in which was clearly an even game. really don't understand where the hate comes from or why???

agreed - takes an entire team failure for a shot to be even put on goal.

yes....when the one seed, two years in a row, does not even make the final, they by definition were overrated.

You’re kidding right? An entire team failure for a shot to be put on goal? Good god, the stupidity from some of you on here is mind boggling.

yes, an entire team failure - everyone on that field is partially responsible for that goal. Your kid was on that field? Responsible.

I’m sorry that you know nothing about sports and should stick to The View and Starbucks chats with your friends.
