    D3 Women’s Soccer

Seasons are kicking off this weekend! Who up? Who’s down?
    Let’s hear it!

Better question is who cares besides obviously you? Thought kids go D3 for education, not soccer, why don’t you spend your worrying about your kid’s gpa and leave the soccer talk be about kids playing it at a serious level.

You've obviously never heard of NESCAC. Great soccer, great education. Williams would beat every team in the MAAC and the NEC (which isn't saying much, I know), and outperform them in the classroom as well.

The soccer is one off from high school which means it actually sux and the schools are over rated. If your kid was really smart and was a really good soccer player they would be at one of the Ivies or one of the prestigious D1 schools. Focus on your kids GPA no one gives a crap about D3 soccer

Why don't you just ignore the thread if you don’t give a crap about D3?

We have threads about every level of soccer including rankings of teams made up of 11-year olds, but somehow womens D3 is taboo?

There's a lot of snobs (ok, aholes) on TS. Ignore them.

To get us back on track and ignoring the noise. I am interested in the UAA womens conference. Looks like some very good teams and games coming up. Brandies v MIT this weekend.

I wish this game was happening later in the season as having it as a first game for both sides is maybe less of an indication...either way it will be a great battle.

And to the soccer snob saying D3 is a step above high school - either one of these teams could beat many D2 and compete or beat lower level D1s.
Not every team in D3 can say that, but both of these sides can.

MIT picked to win the NEWMAC for what it's worth. UAA is not posted yet.

This guy's kid probably rides the pine at Bay Path or Wheelock.

So riding the pine at Tufts with you paying the full freight is some huge win? Get a clue, no one other than the 20-30 parents in attendance care one bit about what happens in what probably passes for a big game at this level.

                              I agree.

Let's spend our time discussing if the SSS 11-year olds are better than the SPOL 11-year olds.............
