    2018 Women's D1 Soccer

Why not turn over a new leaf? More than ever, Women's D1 Soccer is a National Sport. There are National, Conference, Regional, and RPI rankings provided every week. We are part of that, not caught up in our own little world.

The Herman Trophy watch list. Several players from the Northeast are there.

Which players? they obviously don't play for any New England teams.

Sorry, you must be looking for the New England thread. There are players from Princeton, PSU, and WVU listed.

watch lists are utterly ridiculous. Play the games and lets see who does what. Vote at the end. Simple.

Pre Season best XIs fall into the same category

Most interesting game this week features Penn St vs WVU.

Interesting that there is only 1 Freshman field player joining the team this season.

Why? recruiting needs vary based on roster. dont think KD played much defense at Club level. Could be wrong

NT player should be able to play anywhere and contribute right away. Returning injured players should be "added" to this years players as essentially new recruits.

I thought she played midfield at club and was rather ordinary (read overrated) against decent competition. I doubt she'll make any impact on defense for BC but she's a NT player so who knows. Seems our NT is way under-performing lately so it fits.

She hasn't been on NT for a long time. Gatorade POY.

If you've seen her play, she's physical, competitive and has a knack for winning possession. When she played forward, she was successful because she had strength and balance, and could physically overwhelm weaker players to score. I've watched her for years; this move to defense fits her very well and I expect she'll get a lot of playing time before too long at BC.

She's an easy kid to root for.
