Frankly though, anything you pay to the bolts is a charitable donation - you are receiving no value in return, so just write off the whole amount and be done with it...also, include depreciation on your car + gas, travel time, food, opportunity costs associated with both you and your child's time, and anything else you can think of. Heck, there may even be a carbon credit in there for you if you drive a prius or tesla.
