I believe it's just a collection of npl and rec girls that don't play da or ecnl. Not sure how they got into a DA Showcase, but should be an easy match for you.

Clay's good team moved on after last year. It's been a few years since Armada has been good. Sunrise is the only hope. They were successful at the NPL level last year but that's like being good at JV.

I believe they were talking about the Clay U19 team that won the USYS National Championship. That team could play on a national level and from time to time those teams pop up in FL.

The last thing Orlando needs is another “elite” level program or platform. OCYS and FKK are already spreading the talent too thin. Each club have a competitive team or two, but neither play up to the region’s potential.

super bored at work, did some sleuthing about this team. appears to be made up of 05, 04 and 03 girls. some of which are currently listed as ECNL players for both Prime and Orlando City. Coach is DT from Orlando City and TP of his own infamy. How can current ECNL girls be playing on a made-up GDA team in a showcase? how does this work?

Well, ECNL is shut down right now for one. DA has nothing to do what so ever with ECNL for two. They probably just rostered some players as PT players and some as FT players and showed up for a week and played some games. Not complicated. Looks to me like Orlando is trying to get back into the DA game. Watch the coaches and DOCs at OC and FKk start to kiss some parent booty when they start playing again.

Coming down from PA, NY and saw a Central Florida U-17 team on the schedule... but there's no record of the club or the team. Odd for a showcase. Anyone know what it is?

You lost to them as well, a rag tag bunch of girls 2005 to 2003 ages and spilt from various clubs. Whoops
