for anyone that young just look for decent coaching, good price value, 15 min from home and no travel for games much more than that. Seriously, don't take it too seriously.

Egad! 3 best teams ( organizations) for girls 6 - 10 years old on long island ( area 1401 mi^2). No club has a secret recipe on training your daughter and there is a better chance that your daughter will burn out, give up or just not be all that good compared to what you think any club will do for her development. And if she does survive, the landscape of girls soccer with change every year ( sometimes 2xs a year) as douche bag coaches try to profit on your daughters goals. So good luck and enjoy the ride.

Instead of bashing him, just reiterate how teams matter very little at those ages when compared to good trainers and an organization where they are happy...and then share any other insights you might have to help him out.
