    How can you categorize talent by the school a kid plays for? There very well could be a player in D3 who absolutely could be a top talent in a D1 school. A kids talent shouldn't be assessed by his/her school uniform. If soccer in RI did what basketball does, an all star game would be fun to mix these kids up. The debate means nothing if you can't actually see these players on the same field.

      Right.... That is exactly why the coaches have scrapped the banquet and are looking forward to improve the system. Less awards and possibly an all star game instead of a banquet.
      Let's face it, more than half the girls at that banquet received participation awards. Why bother?
