If it’s a positive or neutral statement, who really cares.

There aren't many positive or neutral statements on this site. In fact there have been some horrific things said about individuals on this site - accusations of sexual assault, pedophelia, theft...

Agreed, but that’s our world now. Look at Twitter for 5 minutes. If you’re remotely in the public eye whatsoever, you’re fair game.

UConn's last national championship was in 2000. Their captain that year was an Oakwood player from Glastonbury (MZ).

Wake's last national championship was 2007. Their captain that year was Oakwood player PP.
          Paul Pogba played at Oakwood??

There's no NLI if there's no money involved. There could be OW players who are "recruited". The likelihood of them playing or even being on the roster next fall is pretty slim. The player OW claimed was going to UCONN this year was never on the roster.

op here and yes. No one really knows who actually has an NLI except the family and the school, sometimes the club. Clubs make all kinds of claims that are later shown to be a stretch, or out right lies, later on. OW isn't the only one. Parents are happy their kids get into UCONN at instate prices (not easy to do these days). The kids may or may not be on the rosters next fall but hopefully are at the their #1 school choice.

UConn should never ever lose to URI in mens soccer.

                                I had the same thought

Was once a National and or a Regional strong program. Now it’s neither
