Playing up where? U15's aren't playing right now in Oregon.

Coaching and politics drove top talent away at this age. This was the most talented, hard working group they ever had. Unfortunate.

No split of U13/14 but USSDA does go down to U12 starting next year. Minimal travel for the U12's though. They'll just compete in OYSA like the Thorns Academy does.

                      Timbers Academy

Is this your opinion or do you have insite. USSDA is also splitting U14 to U13 and U14 so why would Timbers do one and not the other

                      from USSDA
Existing Development Academy clubs will add a U-12 age group, while a select number of new clubs will enter at the U-12 age group in key markets to help localize competition within the Academy. The addition of the youngest age group and the split to single age groups at U-13 and U-14, will also streamline and simplify the development pathway for the Academy clubs, creating a consistent environment from U-12 to U-18 and beyond for the elite player.

Amatature coaches masquerading as pros. The entire TA is a joke. It's great marketing though!

Why screw up only a couple of age groups when you can screw up all the age groups.

The Timbers Academy is an embarrassment.
