Looks as if the Timbers/Thorns are no better than the OPL was at getting schedules out. One week until the start of the league and the abbreviated version is not accurate, has been changing and the rest of the schedules are not posted. Lots of excuses but still the same old story for both organizations. No incentive to get them done early this year since there is no competition.

Seems Timbers are actually worse. No big surprise there.

We received an email this morning stating that clubs have been losing fields so the schedule has constantly been changing. I'm sure it's those little mom and pop OPL clubs that have the problems.

No, it's THUSC and FCP that are reporting to be having issues. Those loser clubs.

Sure it is. Both of those clubs have more field inventory than they know what to do with. It's the clubs with muddy grass fields that are holding things up. Hard to schedule games in November when you're certain your fields will be trashed by early October.

The fields that were pulled were in September. They had to reschedule September. Which is delaying work on the rest of the season. Mud is not the issue. Balance of the schedule will be sent to clubs for verification today.

I just don't think it's a big deal. I know what's going on for the next month. I can wait a few days for the balance.

If you look at the September schedules, mud is exactly the reason. Timbers are trying to front load the schedule with grass games in hopes that the clubs with turf can host most of the later games.

Nobody wants their patch or foam finger taken away for being unruly. We march in lock step.

coaches have had them all week. The deadline for request after seeing the oct. schedules was Wed, so expect it to be updated today or over the weekend on their website.

Our manager had the Oct. Schedule as of Tuesday and had the information out to the team that day.

Any word on the OYSA schedule after Sept.?

they are almost finished.

Had to wait for the OYSA 3rd and 4th Division "A" teams that came from OPL to secure their fields.
