The girls that did this the last two years have gotten a lot of training and the experience of working with girls from other clubs, playing tournaments and having a different coaching staff work with them has been very valuable.

If you make the travel roster that adds costs but was a great experience.

I really don't see any reason that you wouldn't do it it you make the team.

The problem is the other 1/2 to 2/3's of the RTC wouldn't make a premier level teams starting roster. The practices suck balls.

It's done all the time at a big academy club. Properly organized, it's not a problem at all. With Timbers coaches doing the organizing, well...

With Timbers coaches it will be favorites in one group and "you other kids go over there and play monkey in the middle".

My dd doesn't even play club, only does RTC. She will make the team one of these days
